    how far short from full do is a good place to strap too. like an inch short?

    Since you guys are talking about it, what do you guys consider "full droop"? When the uniballs start to "max out"? I'm strapped before this but i just did it before the angles started looking too crazy(like in the pic). Does that seem right?

    Strap it just shy of anything binding (be it steering, cv axles, etc) or metal to metal contact.

    Your kit is different because you have the rounded upper misalignment on the UCA to spindle. That is usually the first spot to bind. On yours it should be the uniball cup on the outer UCA hitting the lower misalignment mounted on your spindle. But like Jason said, droop it to that spot and turn you wheels and make sure nothing else is binding. When you find the part that binds first take the strap back up some to give for stretch/flex and keep an eye on that part to make sure its not getting marks from contact. When you check as long as the first point of contact is clean your good ;)

    so i basically finished my lt install. i noticed that at full lock in either direction that the tie rod hits the bypass/limit strap mount. it severely restricts my steering and is probably not a good thing. has any one else had this problem?
    edit: would switching the tie rods solve the problem?
