Just be careful with the power-washer once and edge lifts it's all over for the vinyl.

    busy day yesterday....

finished off the CMC and took care of my pinch weld...cut and beat the weld then covered with some black silicone...also cut some more metal back to bring things back to the same depth...while i was in there, i also trimmed some more of my flare back...covered the seams on the CMC with some JB weld to smooth the corners off and fill the gaps from the welding

after that project was under my belt...took on some mods to kayla's murano

project HID fogs: factory fog housings from rockauto & DDM tuning HID kit

goal was to use the HID kit to get around having to work with the factory fog wiring which would require buying a new lever that has the fog switch in it...so idea was to tie the low beam wire into a relay to trigger the lights..

all was fine, lights worked as planned, until we went to go pick up chinese...truck didn't want to start (attributed this to the bad connection that the terminal "savers" caused, so i removed those) and the RH low beam didn't work (also meant the fogs didn't either because i tapped into that light)

    trouble shooting here...http://www.tacomaworld.com/forum/li...-dead-fog-light-tapping-trouble-shooting.html

found out the light went out because of a blown fuse...battery also ended up crapping the bed finally this morning which gave us a dead truck this morning....

so new battery, replaced fuse and used the running lights as my new trigger for the relay..truck is up and running!

also trimmed the factory plastic fog covers that came with the truck into black rigs to accent the fogs..

    fogs in with accents

was up til 130am last night trouble shooting and figuring out the fuse issue, and finally wrapped things up this morning after i got the new battery and fuse in...

    time for a beer

yes it's only 1040am, but i need a damn beer after that shit

Yeah mine need to be cut just like you say here. Mine are like Bob's now and I am rubbing now that the LR UCA's are on and properly aligned. Just not going to get to it today. Plan on cutting all the way up to the next mount and about an inch in.

we'll see how long it stays there

last trip out i managed to rub up near the second mount up which brought about cutting up higher too...idea was to cut down the amount the plastic sticks out near those points...

can't wait to see the homer flares mounted up!

his bushwacker hybrid turned out damn good
