Did they give you a reject? Alot of the guys have aftermarket exhaust and I had one on my last truck without an issue. Did the shop say that was why or was it to do with your truck coming from Hawaii and not being Mass. compliant

Check your gutters? You just had surgery. Get somebody else to do it! Whatever you do don't hurt yourself.

Somebody just having a bad day and needing his Midol. Just take it to some other place. You should be fine with a aftermarket exhaust in Mass, plenty of people have them. Oh and BTW welcome to NE. The weather is not nearly as nice as Hawaii but NE is a nice place to live.

Thanks! And actually it's the same footprint as my previous Pioneer HU. I had to cut out the old wiring harness and replace it with the new one. Apparently there is a difference between just audio HU's and AV HU's, but only about 30 mins of cutting and splicing to get the new connectors in.

    No controls were lost :)

Went to Henniker today with Sarah, Billy (Qjake) and his nephew.

Found some new trails and had an awesome time! Didn't get back to the asphalt until after the sun went down. Did over 30 miles off road :)

Spent today expanding the doorway and door on my new shed..the original one won't fit my tractor. Tomorrow will be spent cleaning up the yard (patio set and grills) and cleaning the gutters...hopefully in time for the Patriots.

Ya thanks my buddy offered but I will have the girls throw up the ladder and I figure if I use my right knee instead of foot maybe I can get up there to look. I hate to ask for anything especially for him to get on my roof:eek:

Did that yesterday. Moved everything inside that could be turned into a projectile, cleaned out my gutters, got the generator out and by the garage door, gave the generator a test run, picked up another propane cylinder to run it, and re-wired my boiler so it has a plug so it can be unplugged from the circuit breaker and plugged into the generator.

Billy, don't hurt yourself with the gutters. If you need help, let me know!

Busy day today. Installed a new pump in our driveway drain, cleaned the garage, cleaned out the gutters, couldn't get back down from the roof when it started raining so I almost slid to my demise.... Put up shelving for my Dad's fiancé, stocked up with 40 gallons of gas in the shed.... All sorts of fun!

Honestly, it's most likely due to the out of state plates. When I first moved to VA, I had NY plates and it was the worst inspection I ever went through (and again when I moved from VA to MA). After I made it through the first inspection, I never had a problem and I had (and have) a lot of 'questionable' items on my truck. The notion that you can't have an aftermarket exhaust is complete BS and complete untrue. There's no way for him to tell that your exhaust is illegal without a decible meter. Did they give you a red tag, or just turn you away?

Do us all a favor and leave the HID's out or retrofit with projectors. Otherwise, all you're doing is blinding everyone else...

I'd prefer no one gets pounded by the storm... I've got a lot of family and friends right where the storm is supposed to make landfall.

Damn, sounds like you got someone having a bad day!
