The tepui's are a bit more pricey but Joe got one. We decided they were exactly the same from pics we posted.

wiring in a dome light though is pretty simple. Something i also want to add. But right now my flash lights slips right into th eband that holds the upper bar so it pretty much works like one haha

Either will be nice though. All depends on a GB really IMO and how much you have to spend. They are both pretty much the same and as Ben said, made in the same Chinese factory.

how big is it?? ours is 55x96 i think. 55 is pretty cozey for two people but roomey enough. 96 long is MORE then enough.

not sure about the fabric either..but it could be a big difference. All i know is that the tent material feels very thick and solid. more the the fly itself IMO.

my tepui cost me 1100 shipped to canada sooo there is room and we only bought 5

as for fabric when I compared hand in hand to a CVT i couldnt really spot a difference, same high end quality IMO, came with the shitty tube ladder too, I still need to contact tepui about my safety hazard on that lol

customer service was great, only thing i really dont like is how easy it is to set up

best purchase for my truck yet, only complaint how bitching heavy the cock sucker is you cant take it off the truck by yourself lol

 

does yours have a slide out ladder like my new one? or a crap expandable one??

and that makes sense about the fabric and heat..i can tell you when i slept in it with my bro at 8000+ feet for a night in september..i was COLD haha

48'' is tight man. Id lay down with ali and have someone hold a tape measure so you can get an idea of that. at 84'' long..should be just right but i doubt you'll be able to comfortable keep your bags at your feet like i can.

Id try making a floor cut out even of cardboard and seeing what its like just to be safe ya know?

but the way i see it. If your gonna send the money one something like this. Which unlike suspension is pretty much a one time purchase. Get it right how you want it. Would suck to find you think its too small in the long run..thats why i opted for the larger over hang for the changing room I know now i won't use it a ton. But later in life i think i will.

I still don't get what the point of a RTT is. Unless you were camping in a swamp I see no advantage over a normal tent. Are they for people afraid of snakes or something?
