Just got a 09 TRD off road and it seems to sit higher than other trucks I park next to. I do have 265/75R16 BFGs. What do you think?

Seems at least level, however as ^^ indicated pics of front coils would help.

we need a pic of the top of the front coil. what size tires? they may just be 245's and make the truck look bigger because they are small.

Pics of the top of the front coil. You seem to have a block in the rear and may have a spacer lift up front. The front coils and shocks are stock.

    Hard to tell.
The 75 series tires will definitely give it an overall height increase over other trucks, and even 1/2" can be quite noticeable.

But from the garage shot, it does look like it's got a little "bro lean" or "Carolina Squat" going on with the front taller than the rear, which would indicate a lift since the Taco tends to sit nose-low from the factory. Could be the camera angle or a wide lens distorting the image.

Park on a level surface and measure from the center of the wheels to the fender lip. That can be directly compared to other TRDs regardless of tire/wheel diameter.

The tires are 265/75R16 or is 285 a spring thing?

thats a spacer so it is lifted, or leveled at least. but i'd get rid of it, and get a set of bilstein 5100 shocks and just set them to .85"

yes you have a small spacer lift with blocks in the back and tires that are 5% taller than stock. looks great to me, but i like the "is it, is it not" lifted look.

why? it's a very small above coil spacer, which won't harm the truck in any way, or change the ride quality. IF you are bombing through the desert, or getting into some crazy 4x4 situations, then yes, upgrade, but as it sits, there is absolutely nothing wrong with that small spacer.

Sweet I like the stance with the slightly larger tires. The ride is firm but doesn't loosen my teeth. The spacer would make the front spring firmer right?

nope, being an above coil spacer, it wouldn't change the ride whatsoever.

Looks to me like 265/75/R16's, being bfg A/T's they probably stiffen up the ride a bit

it just pre loads your struts. the spacer will ruin the struts eventually, and chop the shit out of your tires. the rear blocks will promote axle wrap and vibrations in the driveline. its probably ok as it is, but if you actually want it to sit a little beefier, AND ride better than stock i'd look into something to beef the suspension up, not lift a 30k dollar truck with 100 dollar hockey pucks... just my opinion though, and as we all know, an opinion is like an orgasm, mine matters most and i dont care if you have one
