Just googled this :) Seems the toothpaste acts as an abrasive and scuffs away all the hazing or something. Interesting.

Toothpaste is a little too abrasive. It will leave marks. I dont like using toothpaste on anything. Its a poor mans trick that will work on CDs....but in the process just puts finer scratches in them.

I used my buffer and a cleaning compound. I've done plenty of headlights this way and its similar to the headlight restoration kits you can buy. You can do it by hand as well in most cases...but I really need the buffer on the taco headlights. I also plan on actually waxing them for the UV protection.

I wish it wasn't 2+ hour drive... plus I have to get a ride to get my truck. Got home from a Halloween party last night at 4:45AM. Expensive cab ride beats DUI any day. Cant miss game 4 of Giants whooping ass either. SWEEP!!!

I guess that's a no then? I have a regular guy there. Plus I've always come out your way. It's like a 15 - 20 min drive for you going opposite traffic from Willow Pass or Port Chicago to Somersville.
