Maybe a little bit but, I still think we are a top 10 team. Our only losses are to top 10 teams on the road. I feel like we are a good passing QB away from being elite.

 

They may very well win that game, but y'all will play them closer than MSU did.

 

I agree with this. Bama wins this one, but it's not a complete blow out like MSU.

 

Agreed.....and honestly, we have never had a great QB. A few good ones but no great ones.

Pulling for ND to get to the title game.... So I guess you could call me a believer.

 

As an Alabama fan. Why are you wanting ND or KState or Oregon?

 

In 1977, Alabama was ranked #3 going into the bowl season.

• #1 Texas lost to #5 Notre Dame 35-10
• #2 Oklahoma lost to #6 Arkansas 31-6
• #3 Alabama beat #8 Ohio State 35-6

SO.... Go into the bowl season ranked 3rd... the top two teams lose and you blow-out your top-ten opponent.. What do you think should happen?

Well the voters weren't wearing crimson glasses, apparently. Notre Dame ended up winning the AP title, jumping from 5th to 1st. They were also awarded the UPI title.

SO... (Many) Alabama fans feel that 1977 should have been a national championship year for the Tide. (No, it's not one of the 14 we claim.) There are some people who think that the split title we won in 1978 (having lost to the other split-title holder, USC) was awarded partly to make up for the 1977 season.

ALSO... in 1973, ND beat Alabama by one point in the Sugar Bowl. The final Coaches Poll selected Alabama as the national champions before the bowl games. After the game, the AP poll named ND the national champs. From what I understand, the Coaches Poll stopped awarding a national championship before bowl games starting in 1974.

I'm not one of those people who beats the "WE GOT 14" to death, but that's one that we claim, and since the system was what it was when it was awarded, I'll call it legit.

SO TO GET TO YOUR QUESTION...

I want ND to make it to the NC game b/c I want Alabama to beat the shit out of them. If Alabama doesn't make it to the game, then I don't want ND there, either, b/c I don't want them to have a shot at the title.

1st - Oregon is fucked.
USC - 2 losses
Stanford - 2 losses
Water rats - 1 loss
our strength of schedule went from bad to worse!

2nd - What does GOD have against Lattimore? Poor dude. I like the guy and that was just shitty. I hope he can play again someday.

3rd - My biggest wish is to have Alabama at their best in the Natty. Prob ain't gonna happen.

4th - we play K-State: We will stop Optimus whatever and they would not win. He makes the plays to win the games. He wouldn't be able to run like a high school kid thru a daycare nerf football game against Oregon.
