DC discovery today.

I'm probably the only knucklehead here that didn't already know this,but.....One of my pet peeves has been when I use the fold flat feature of my DC back seats,I often forget to hold up the female end of the seat belts so they are accessible the next time I have passengers back there.Usually it's my three kids and as we're getting ready to pull out of the driveway and I ask"everybody buckled?" I hear"I can't find my seatbelt".Then we have to empty out of the truck while I fold the seats forward and fish out everyones buckle.(mad at self).

Well today,while vacuming the back seat after a particularily messy donut eating session back there,I discovered little pockets at the bottom of the seat backs I presume are designed to hold the buckles while you fold the seats....While stowed there,you can fold the seats up and down and they stay put,and also,they prevent the buckle from getting lost in the cracks when not in use.

Again,I'm likely the last Taco owner to discover this,but I was so pleased at my discovery that I had to share.

 

I have used both of them and no good news at all, even there is difficult to close the seat belt male connector against the female this last one is not rigid and most of the time get stucked in middle of the seats.

I never noticed that either and I have been irritated at having to hold those things in place everytime i fold the seats.

Good catch, don't have kids(see my picture and know why) or people in the back much, but I find that info really cool.

 

My sales rep Showed me that feature the day I bought my Taco.
Guess some dealers are better than others.

i knew about those, but i felt pretty stupid when (after owning my truck for 6 months) i discovered how the headrests are kept in those little holes when the seats are folded down. i got all pissed off because i would have to let them slide around in the back and fall on the ground when i opened the back door.

This is better than in my 2003 Dodge Dakota Quad Cab (that I used to own)... No pockets at all and the seats didn't fold up!!! BE THANKFUL you have them
