It is to get more air in the intake. Better Sound and supposed be more horse power. Almost same as adding a Cold Air Intake, but way cheaper.

Taking them off was simple it only took like 15 minutes but putting them back on took about 40 minutes. It was well worth it though!

Can anyone suggest some decent off road lights for the bar, that wont break the bank? I've been looking at the Westin lights.... They come with covers but I think I'd rather have grills. Whats all your opinions?

I think that its funny you go through the trouble of blurring your plates in some pics, but leave the perfect shot of your back plate clear.

haha yeah, to be honest i just wanted to. It was nice weather and me and my friend had spare time. I had talked to someone who did and it didn't take them long. It didn't take long at all, 15 minutes tops to get them off and thats with doing it slowly the first time to make sure i didn't mess anything up. and it took about 30-40 minutes to put them back on, but i'm sure i'll be quicker next time around. To top it off, some of the looks i got riding around town were priceless. It was well worth my time in my opinion.

Yeah as far as I know it is. I know you are suppose to have a rear view mirror and other than that, i think thats it. Some states are more strict than S.C. but i think thats it. The worst that can happen is you get a fix-it ticket and you have to put them back on or something...so its well worth it.
It even rained on me the next day but it wasn't bad. when your driving the rain goes right by you, but when your stopped it can blow inside and that kind of sucks, thats why i put mine back on until this weather gets more predictable.

Your actually where I got the Idea from... :)
I just took it step further and painted the fading plastic as well.
I used Plasti-Kote bed liner. I went in to Wal-mart hoping to get Dupli-color or another well known name, but thats all they had at the store by me.
