Tomb of the Unknown Soldier vs. Hurricane Sandy

This picture was taken yesterday (or today?) as the Tomb Guards continued to guard the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier in Washington D.C. as Hurricane Sandy moved in.

Screw it... The internet beat me. That picture was taken well before Sandy came around.

U.S. Army And Thank You!! I am a vet and got a chance to visit this place last year....AMAZING!!

 

At any rate I was there years ago on memorial day weekend, gives ya goosebumps if you have any patrititism.

Meh give it a rest, I agree with Jim, pic came from heart, and OP stands corrected and is accepting it. The pic is awesome as hell, and should give all American's a chill in the spine.

so what happens when these guys are in the path of the eye of the storm? do you just stand there and defend a bunch of dead soldiers while they watch they're partner fly away ?
