When I blew my clutch, my friend that owns Kalakaua transmission told me to go to that guy next to kilani bakery, I think it was Ace transmission? So I took um there, he was pretty good and resonable. Those guys all race or used to race when had Campbells, but yeah, just try call um and ask, should be fast.

hey all, I am comming back from afghanistan in a few weeks and am planning a trip to hawaii to decompress/honeymoon. Of course I am staying right off waikiki (I hate being a tourist but its what she wants) anyway I have been there several times in the summer but never in the winter (28 dec-5 jan). How is the weather. Also is there anything I should do other than the normal tourist stuff that I will be forced to do with her. Thanks

Just go out and enjoy the warm weather and beaches. That's what it's all about, not those malls and shopping centers in Waikiki. Maybe there will be big surf on the north shore, that's a must see. Have fun, you deserve it!

    Stay out of waikiki!
Its all fake. Fake beach, fake waterfall/fountains on the beach, shopping centers.
Go the the country. Haunauma bay is kinda touristy, but its still nice for snorkeling. Plus its close to town. I live on the east side close to it so I go kinda often just to get a fish boner.
Also there are some beautiful places to go on nice hikes.

Yeah man go sight seeing. Weathers good. Might be a little rainy.

    Here's some ideas...
    Drive around the island
go north shore check out the waves
    check out Haleiwa
    Haunauma bay
maybe go Kailua and eat at Boots and Kimos then go Lanikai beach

have fun and enjoy your stay bro!

So I found out I'll be headed to the island sooner than expected. Probably late February or if I can swing the 60 day early report to Schofield I'll be there in January.
