Made it thru unscathed. Never lost power. Just took the dog out to inspect the house & yard. No damage to the house & all our trees still standing. No damage to the Taco or FJ. Branches & leaves everywhere.

Sorry Joe. Hope you get the tree's out. If it wasn't because of what Lisa said \/ just ignore it. He's not worth the effort.

There are a few of those around

    X2

Have you seen the pics and video's? I don't think they are making this up.

Just be careful driving on those flooded roads... that there isn't a hole in the road under the water, that you can't see

^^ How's it looking now there? Some black clouds surrounding us miles away, and slight bursts of wind, but still not much.

We survived but the winds where pretty unreal and but the rain wasnt nearly as bad as lee last year. But I still know this wasnt nearly what you guys in NJ felt. Thanks for slowing her down a bit. Power was only out for a few hours yesterday.

I rode out the storm in NYC yesterday. It was like "I Am Legend" here. They closed mass transit at 7pm on Sunday (Subways/buses/railroads). Monday was a ghost town. The wind was ridiculous. i am on the 42nd floor and the windows were thumping, you could hear/feel the building move. I left at 3 to go home. The tunnels started flooding around 7pm. The Battery (downtown) completely under water. The FDR (east side highway) completely under water. The West Side flooded in some places to 10th Ave (for reference, there is 11th, Westside Highway, Hudson River). Lots of uprooted trees and restaurant awnings, oh and that crane dangling 70 stories above 57th street. My parents are out on Long Island and they are expected to be without power for 7-10 days. We live on the North Shore and the town was basically under water (luckily they live atop a hill).
The wind was incredible last night. i will put in some pics shortly

Seems like the biggest problem is just water. Hopefully the winds have died down enough.

from what I've read they still have another high tide that has yet to come in and all of the rivers and other waterways are already saturated with water. So it seems like it's gonna get worse before it gets better.

Just so people can kind of understand the situation on the NE coast. I was 23' above sea level last night and was pooing my pants on a tributary of the Delaware River as it rose around me.
