    Good to hear! I am really glad I don't live in some of those hard hit areas. East coast, the Gulf area and parts of the midwest that actually get hit hard by the tornadoes.

    In the DC area there is a real concern about the Potomac flooding later on today as water makes its way downstream.

    Since the storm started we have had 6.41 inches of rain in our back yard. Power flickered a few times last night. We were lucky compared to others in the region. This storm is being called the worst in 119 years. The snow in 8 states is unprecedented for a hurricane.

    Today's surge will be worse then last nights for the Delaware. No way in hell will I be driving the Taco back at 3pm for round three. Ill just walk this time around. It will suck not having a dry place to warm up, but rather be wet then swamp my ride.

    Low tide was supposed to be 9am this morning and when I left it was still as high as a normal high tide. All the charts are fubar.

    the flooding hasn't even started yet if you think about it. yes the tides were horrible but the rain is still coming down and the rivers have to empty somewhere, its long from being over.
