Ok, some of you may have read in another post a complaint i had about my vents making a really annoying noise on the low settings. it sounds like a bunch of crickets having violent sex in my dash. anyway, this has been going on for about 3 months and driving me crazy. i haven't been using my vents because of it. Anyway, last time i took my truck up to have the oil changed i had them look at it. They called and said they didnt hear anything out of the ordinary. I was pissed. I just assumed it was making the noise but they considered it "normal". so i told them i was heading up there and wanted to speak to the service manager. When i got up there i got the service manager and sat him in my truck and turned on the vents....... no noise. my truck was as quiet as it had ever been. i had heard crickets every day for the last 3 months without fail when the vents were on, and the one time its at the dealer it stopped. Anyway, he said if they cant replicate the problem they cant fix it. As much as i hate it i understand that policy. So he said if it did it again to bring it back up.

My fan was quiet for the next 2 days. then it started up again. so i called up the service dept and told the girl i talked to. she knew i had been there the previous week so she told me to hold on a second. when she came back she said she spoke with the service manager and instead of wasting my time with another trip up there he gave her permission to go ahead and order a whole new blower and they would put it in whether they heard the noise or not.

Anyway, i got a call telling me its in today (friday) but i wont have a chance to take it up till monday. I was very happy that they didnt make me bringmy truck up again and just went ahead and ordered a whole new blower. So far Toyota of Greenville has not let me down yet. So far i have yet to go through all the trouble and BS that some of you guys have complained about. if you live in the upstate, i recomend these guys.

I hope you described it to the service manager that way. Gratz on getting the fix authorized.

How is that even possible you stupid American freak? Either you are hearing things or you are addicted to cricket porn you filthy, bacon munching horny bastard. You have been :rasta: haven't ya?

Your inability to replicate the sound, with the service manager in the truck goes to prove how stupid of an ass, you are. I'm certain the service manager, probably a Texan was rushed to emergency soon after you left for self inflicted head trauma. He violently banged his head on the parts counter screaming "I can take this redneck sh!t anymore. Somebody shoot me PLEEEEEEASE". Now this too may have appeared as violent sex to you, had you witnessed it. Its commonly know as SRS (not the air bag) but “Stupid Redneck Syndrome".

Toyota of Greenville did what they did so that they wont have to deal with your arrogant Alliance sh!t, anymore. I'm sure you were trying to recruit their staff to join your stupid Alliance while you were trying to smooch a new blower motor/fan and have your truck sodomized  free of charge, you filthy perverted bastard. They must have considered buying the truck back from you so they'll never have to deal with your crap again but with all the crickets violently doing each other in your dash, they decided the cricket mobile or “Cricketoma” is best suited for you.

Wait a minute. Aren't cricket’s bird food? Coincidence? They are "doing it" for you, Southern fried chicken. There's your sign!

But you wish you were, secretly. I've knew that all along. Hang on to this :canada: till the election is over and bring it along when you are seeking asylum. I'll be waiting for you at the border with my BBQ all fired up with poultry seasoning in hand and even some cranberry sauce.

    Eat Turkey :hungry:

I found this to be not only appropriate, but also a more than adequate response. It's just like the come back "your face" - when used, it cannot be wrong or out of place.
