Tacoma is stock and staying that way, Pickup is TBA as of now.
I usually buy cases of oil there, but never noticed the oil tax, will check my receipt next time.

In California I paid the oil fee as well. Still cheaper than anywhere else.

I get 5qts of Mobil 1 at Wallymart for $25, but I will have to check my local Costco for this deal of which you speak. While I'm there, I'm going to pick up the 5000 roll pack of toilet paper, a 25 pound bag of pretzels, and a 50 pound block of cheese. Just in case.

WTF is the oil fee for? I take my used oil back to the store to be recycled. They act like they are doing me a favor taking it off my hands.

    ... ^^^ ... Grasshopper ... don't forget the M&Ms ... :D

To OP ... have never seen an "oil fee" on my COSTCO purchased oil. I will be buying some Mobile 1 there tomorrow, while they are putting on my new LTX-MS2s (that are on still on sale until Nov 4th) ... :D

So let it be written ... So let it be done ... :D

I'm guessing the oil fee is what the recycle fee would be when your purchase a tv or computer or anything with an 8" screen or bigger. It's just the fee they charge you to depose of the oils. Could be wrong.

Costco always charged an oil fee.

However auto part stores like Orielly, Autozone, & Pepboys never do.
