Texas Tech's new Lone Star Pride uniforms for Saturday's game against Texas.

 

Look like the texans, except they suck

 

I think we can contain Manziel, we have a great secondary and pretty good linebackers. We'll see. I'm not too worried. I think it'll be close, but I expect to win this week.

We are "storming" LA Saturday. Debuting the all white unis. I've seen them and they are sick.

I can see that happening. The only thing is how many players will it take to contain? We shall see, but I'm with you I think it will be close. Random fact A&M is undefeated this year on the road and State is undefeated at home, so one of those will change on Saturday.

 

Rumors are that Sumlin wants to do what They do and different uniforms for every game. He says it will help with recruiting.

Well it's just a rumor for now. We shall see if anything comes of it.

 

Don't know if it's what they're all about, because they seem to be pretty good at football too, but they certainly started it and they're keeping it going.

I like about 1 in 5 of their uniforms, and it's usually a black/dark uniform w/ the flat black helmet.

Being good helps more w/ recruiting. Alabama bring in top talent, and they've been wearing the same damn uniform for 100 years (w/ a few, minor exceptions).

If these kids actually pick schools because they like the uniforms, I feel bad for our society.

We've done black (which is one of our primary colors) and the power rangers. LSU and Florida both had their own pro combat unis.

SC has red, white, black, camo.

This will be the toughest game for these two to try to continue these streaks up to this point in the season. I see your point about how many players it takes to hold Manziel back, but our depth in the secondary against your receivers in man to man coverage is a matchup that I like.

 

Yeah... I was really talking about the power rangers unis from last year's opener. Horrid uniforms.

I don't mind the SC ones, since they're supposed to help raise awareness for Wounded Warriors or something like that.

I don't count Kentucky (or Missouri or Vandy) as part of the SEC until basketball seasons starts.
