FALL 2012 TRAIL RUN/CAMPING TRIP

I was calculating at about 18mpg and $3.60per gal of gas. Lol. Usually I drive down to tuscon and back it take about $50ish and I've got plus one size tires I believe

 

I think im just going to sit it out. I spent 65$ going to the dunes and dont want to spendanother 60$ when I could use that for some upgrades.

 

call me silly. where do you get a permit?


For those going out on Saturday, is anyone meeting? Myself and 1 other party will meet @ 1000 11/3 @ the Circle K.

 

And what are we doing for those coming up Saturday and for those coming up Friday? There wont be any cell coverage im assuming. Not sure what the plans are for us all.

 

Well I was just informed we will not be need the camping permits. Dispersed camping and No fire restrictions. Game on!

 

Well we will justpost the camp ground everyone is at and you can show up but Saturday morning I plan on running rice peak with my busy and any 4X4's that want to come also.

 

Ok guys i talked to the catalina ranger district and they said we DONT need permits to camp nor do we need day use permits either. There will be no fire restrictions either so we can have a huge bonfire. (Hell yeah) they said to just make sure ots put out all the way and for us to have fun. Im in for rice peak! I got to wake up early and try to field install my new sliders sat morning. If i cant in the morning i will do them that night.

Yep. But i guess there is 3 holes per slider gotta drill holes into the frame. So yeah gunna tru and rally and get them on. But if if the drilling just takes to long and cuts into wheeling time im just gunna say f it and do them sat night when we get back.

Matt is gunna help out . We are going to bring 2 drills and try to get them done at the same time to cut it down. But we could defiantly use some extra muscle for anyone that wants to help.

 

Me and my buddy Andrew are always fabbing stuff and installing so I know we will both be in to help you. You wont need them fo rice peak I am pretty sure if your lited.

 

Nope not lifted yet. Still riding stock. Im doing my homework on a lift. Im still trying to figure out which one to get. There are so many threads on here about lifts.

 

I hear ya, I got my sliders first as well. I peiced together my lift for 6 months and then installed it myself. Haha, thats how much research i did. So if you need any help lemme know. I am upgrading my suspension soon after onlyabout 15,000mi

 

Yeah i defiantly am going to need some help. There are so many options out there. We will chat around the fire with a beer. I always listen better with a beer in my hand haha

 

Same here. All of our installs are done with beers, Stefan can verify this haha!

 

Its the only way to work. I saw his purchase of the magnet cuzzies. I was pissed when i saw those. Im waiting for the next batch. And they shall be mine!
