I've never noticed a constriction with caffeine. I had a few hundred milligrams before today's workout, felt like a boss lol

Try adding a couple sets at the end of your session.....but monitor your recovery. You could also try super setting chins and dips with no rest and your arms will blow up......but anything you do that would take away from adding weight to your next session on the compound lifts may not be worth it?

Calves get a decent workout on squats and deadlifts, but again not directly.

Don't get me wrong i take some caffeine in one form or another before i go to school. But my point was the affects of caffeine are generally contrary to those that you might want to see from a preworkout.

I haven't noticed contrary affects. I've been taking pre workouts with caffeine in them for about 4 years now...the NO2 and Arginine AKG with Beta Alanine seem to counter whatever the caffeine is doing, cuz I get great pumps with excellent vascularity.

Actually, a lot of us are trying to "cut" a lot and would apply to your situation......but ya, there's a lot of testosterone flying around in here. Keep your calories in check and lower carbs and work on getting stronger. Your hormones will keep you from looking like a guy unless you "add" hormones (if you catch my drift) LOL!

Welcome and feel free to share your experiences as you see fit!

Is it me or do you guys find it hard to fully contract your arms in their full range of motion when NO products are on board? It feels like my arms are going to rip and the last couple reps are half of what they could be......I also hate the itching/pins and needles feeling I get in my neck!

I quit using cheap NO2 for the itching and redness. I do arms on back day, I love the rep restricting pump, go out to full stretch and then half curl and hold a second, mmmm blood flow.

TUT- time under tension. Less stress on joints. Just like bench press, push downs, etc - not locking out puts assists with the MMC opposed to just moving the weight...anyone can move weight..

It does cause constriction...but like Stewie from Family Guy "women love a vascular man"...and I love having road maps pop out. a5etypum_9d7d77ee6311e85d74eb9b6c6c78fedb5da63a7b.jpg

Many preworkouts that contain caffeine also contain beta alanine and some other form of a vasodilator to help with the pump/vascularity. As previously stated-having a lower bf% greatly increases the vascular part too....pumps will come from that, diet, MMC etc

Yeah, caffeine is a cheap support that's a good antioxidant and fat burner. Some of the best pumps I've ever had were from a carb heavy meal.
