That's so true. I should just spend the money right and buy the sliders and be done with it. Sliders aren't that much to began with so ill just have to buy them then. I love how I don't think about these ideas but other people do for me haha. I'm whacked in the head lol.

I need passengers pads and they said they were going to machine the rotors. They also said the drivers side is ok for now buy needs to be replaced soon and I know that cause if I don't slam on the brakes, I don't stop lol. Oem is like 286 for pads and rotors. I know I can go to autozone and get them for alot cheaper like you said but idk if I should trust them. I heard the dura last rotors suck and they break easily but that's just what I heard. If I'm doing the brakes, I would rather spend the money and get both sides done and make sure they arw new you know? Start fresh.

You guys talking about going this Sunday? Henniker is like 15-20 mins from my house. Is the trail going to destroy your truck if you don't have sliders?

Thanks dude. 298 shipped for a pair of sliders is really cheap. I'm shocked. Looks like I'm buying these really soon:D

I agree with you doing both sides, that's just standard practice. As far as breaking the rotor, you won't break them, I promise... It's a truck, not a race car. I've had Duralast pads and rotors in my truck for about 10k miles and they're holding up very well. They have a good initial bite and have fared well towing and hauling heavier loads. I paid $150 for my pads and rotors, both sides and did the work myself in a couple hours.

That being said, I had 70k miles on my stock stuff so both the pads and rotors were shot. If you don't have that many miles and the rotors aren't worn badly, you could save some coin by either turning (machining) the old rotors if you even need to do that... We threw new pads on AJ's truck and did nothing with the rotors. They weren't worn or warped so there was no reason to blow the extra money.

The bolt ons are $310 and I don't see where that includes shipping. The others require a bit a welding to get them fitted up properly.

Thanks dude. I'll have to check them up again and make sure what I need and don't need. Saving coin is deff a good thing.
150 for rotors and pads is one hell of a deal. Plus they have 20 percent off so it's even more great:). Maybe I'll just do that then and use the rest of the money for the sliders :D.

It said no shipping on the site so it must be free maybe. I hope so. I'm gonna call and ask. Paint the sliders black and I'm good to go:)

Yea it's not a hard concept to grasp. Lol

I have duralast calipers and I can't complain. I also have Wagner Thermoquiet pads and they're amazing!

Yeah, I saw the wagner pads on advance auto parts. They have good reviews. I can get pads and rotors for 137.99. Thats a great deal. Used the 20 percent off. I love coupons lol.

Thanks dude again lol. 321 shipped isnt bad at all. What a great deal. Then 10 bucks in paint and im good to go. They say bolt on. Does that mean they will bolt right on or will I still need to make some holes in the frame for them to install?
