    i just wanted to make sure i was looking at the right shocks for the rear. id hate to order it and have them be too short..

    Keep in mind, if you use the stock mounts, the drivers side and passenger side have different lengths.The only sure way to know if you got the right length shock is to measure the compressed and extended lengths after you lift it but before ordering rear shocks. It is always somewhat a guessing game until you do measure.

    its almost stupid to buy shocks before you lift the rear. You HAVE to measure to know what shocks to get. No way around it. sure you can guess but really that 2'' crap block lift your gonna throw on..won't be 2'' due to old saggy stock leafs.

    Every truck is different so never take anyones word for it when it comes to that.

    Lift it, measure it, then call DSM on the phone and tell your numbers. They will hook you up with the right 5100 or 5125.

    haha ok thanks bud. Like I said, the blocks are only temporary till I can afford a leaf pack. Truck has 222k on it so I'd say it's about time for some new leafs

    yeah it sags a little. i'm going to take the spare out from under the bed and see if it levels out any. i've only had the truck for 5 days now... cut me some slack haha

    Well that will just be a by product but i want to go and add a thicker leaf for more weight carrying ability. Finally got to weigh mine down real good and it held up and just sagged back to level with the front but i like my rake!

    Well now - after 2 months being lifted, the rear has not budged!! Still sitting over 5+ inches of lift with those fucking All-Pro leafs :rolleyes:
    So - mesa thinking since i have the billies/eibachs/1" Diff drop, perhaps i add the 1/2" top plate spacer kit which will add nearly an inch of lift in the front.
    Has anyone done such a monstrous mission before?? :D

    My quote was specifically to see if there is anyone who has used the 1/2 top plate spacers. There's dozens who have used the 1/4 on here. But im not looking for WARNINGs from the peanut gallery :) just info from people who may have done it.
