I'm 5'3". Ever since I had my 2005 TRD, my only real gripe was the low driver seat height. Makes it hard to see over the nose of the truck when pulling up to something. Annoying.

I've dreamt of a 1.5"-2" metal bracket (or spacers) that would mount into the floor's bolt-holes and the seat would bolt directly into the bracket. Because of the angle of the bolt holes, simply adding spacers and longer bolts will not work.

Has anyone here been successful in elevating their drivers seat? Do you know of any aftermarket solutions?

    Thanks.

I put a set of Rough Country seat spacers in my old TJ. They were 1.5", and they made a world of difference. 1.5-2" would be a bit much in the cab of a 2Gen, it really sits you up higher than you expect. I would think .75-1" would be perfect for these trucks.

I'll have to sit in the seat, have someone measure the distance from the top of my head to the ceiling, than, lift my butt off the seat to desired elevation and have someone measure the difference. I feel like it's close to 2" when I lift myself up.

I know that in my 4Runner, I maxed out the upward adjustment. My friends would get in and scrape their heads on the ceiling when driving it.
