    I've done nothing stupid.... still have my crease on the fender... ripped off 2 steps now... with a pre-runner you have to use momentum... it gets very bouncy.     My steps hung low (have sliders now)... and the dent is from "the loop" area... it was ridiculously muddy.... and I slow motioned right into a tree. No throttle involved... just slid. It sucked. I'm going again.... all in all its a great time. I enjoy the camping and stories about everyone the most. The "regulars" are such great folks... and so friggin funny especially after a few beers!!!!:cool:

    im hopefully going to get some for christmas. if i do, the deal is i have to buy a hi-lift. which honestly is the primary reason i want them. right now i have no jack in my truck, and a hi-lift will only help me if i pop a rear tire. no lift points for a hi lift on the front... but with sliders... im good =) plus i dont mind the extra protection while out at shoe creek

    This is about 4 hours from me. Two questions:

    1) How long (distance and time) are the trail rides? I'd hate to drive 4 hours for only an hour or two on the trail.

    2) Are there any hotels near the trail head? If I came down, it would likely be with the lady... and she won't sleep outdoors in January.
