What valving did you go with? I'm sure you will be happy with them, they can sure take some abuse!

 

Sonny said they can have ICON lessen the slow speed dampening so at lower speeds the shocks will not be as firm but won't give up performance at speeds

 

Sweet, it will ride like a cadddy but still take a whompin'. Downsouth is good to deal with and if you don't like it they will revalve for you. You'll be as happy as a puppy with two peters when you go for your first ride.

 

I can't wait. Should be here within 3 weeks. Since it is a 2-3 week build time

 

I got a chance to install Office 2010 tonight. Some observations:

-It spews all the icons onto the modern interface desktop. I had to one-by-one hide tiles for stuff like XPS viewer and stuff that you don't normally open.

To open Word, I start at the modern desktop and click the Word tile
It moves to the traditional desktop and loads Word
I then press the Windows key to return to the modern desktop, then click the Excel tile
It moves back to the traditional desktop and loads Excel

I can use Windows+Left or Right to snap the windows around, just like Windows 7. However, this only works in the traditional desktop. In modern desktop, you have to use the mouse to create a 80/20 split

I mentioned before that Alt+tab and Windows+tab didn't work, but I just got an update that has enabled that feature.

Windows + tab doesn't do the sideways thing like in Windows 7. Instead, it opens a bar at the left side with a vertical listing of my running apps/programs. It disappears once I let go of the Windows key, just like before.

 

Man that sounds way to confusing

 

It's slightly easier when you are actually doing it, but the problem is there's no "do it this way every time" sort of method. Needs more unification.


In other news, I don't think even Toyota can get me to buy a Hummer

I had a nice response for you, but Comcast ate it. From what I can remember:
-At least it's stable from what I can see
-It's stupid fast
-There's signs of really great concepts happening, and forward thinking. Impressive from a giant enterprise that's built a product that people expect to be both monolithic and futuristic
-got to hand it to them for venturing away from the same input devices we've been using for the past 40 years.
-also give them points for changing their pricing structure ($40 for upgrade disc). Seems out of character, but shows they can be hip to the times.

It feels like a concept car. I think that if they try building incrementally and have quick, inexpensive releases, they can hammer out a lot of issues.

 

That's the tough part.

Also, their between 4-6gigs , I can't email a file that big. Any ideas?
