The suspension is still for sale. This is a top of the line kit and a great deal for anybody looking to go mid travel.

 

Warning, this lift kit is incomplete!

 

The kit was missing reservoir brackets and a sway bar relocation bracket both of which arrived today new from icon. Everything else was there. To make a dude drive from Tucson to Phoenix to offer him $800 for a $3400 kit minus ~$100 in parts is just plain dirty. Go waste somebody else's time.

I didn't offer you 800$ , I offer you 1800$. And you didn't drive to Phoenix , you drove to Casa Grande. And when I asked you if the kit is complit, you sad "yes" and it wasn't.

 

It wasn't me you dealt with, I put you in touch with the owner of the lift kit. I have known him for more than 15 years and I am posting exactly what he told me and he has always been a straight shooter. Knowing the owner the way I do, he would have ordered every part you needed in a minute had you guys come to a deal. In regards to what you offered him, I'm not going to get into a he said she said game about this, I know what he told me and it's between you and him.

If anybody is concerned about the kit being complete, I can have him take pictures of all the pieces and parts that will come with it.

Bottom line, somebody is going to get a good deal.

edit: I just spoke to the owner and he confirmed much of this story. It's irrelevant anyway as it's between him and the other guy. As to the confirmation of the kit being complete, he had a shop here in town pull the kit off the truck and they told him it was complete. He didn't know that the reservoir brackets and swaybar relocation mounts were missing as he didn't install the kit. It was an honest mistake as he was going on what he was told by the shop when he spoke to george2pak. To any interested party, please note the owner of the kit has replacement parts new from icon.

 

If he was such a honest man , why did he start cursing and makeing threats to me when I told him that the parts are missing? I will NOT recommend to any TW members to do business with this man!

 

Casa Grande is 30 mins from Phoenix and about 45 mins from Tucson.


If he started cursing, then walking away was the best outcome.

 

That's what I did. I live in Peoria , it's 80 mile from my house to Casa Grande.

Having a temper and being honest are two completely different things. Let's get that out in the open.

In a nutshell, he said you offered him $800 and he went berserk. You say you offered him $1800 and he went berserk. At the end of the day I wasn't there so I'm not going to try to pretend like I know exactly what happened and at this point it's water under the bridge. Kudos to you for not continuing to escalate things.

You had a bad experience with him and aren't interested in his kit, I can appreciate that. If your goal was to ruin his sale, I think you've done that. I thought somebody on this board would be interested in a top tier suspension system for 65% the price of a new one. He didn't have to order new replacement parts, but he did. That's how he operates. Like I said earlier, had I not already ordered mine I would have bought it. Somebody is going to buy this kit and they're going to love it.

 

He lives on the far east side of Tucson which is 105 miles from Casa Grande. Both of you were inconvenienced.

I'm with you, if I were a buyer of this kit I would have pointed out that some small parts are missing and offered him $2200. There's no way it would cost more than $100, if even that, to get new resi mounts and sway bar relocation brackets.

 

Anybody can do what ever they wanna do with they're money. I had a bad experiece with this guy and don't want any of TW members be deceived or scamed on this forum. Good luck with the sale!

 

I wanned to buy that kit , but when he started curseing and making threats I couldn't do anything no more.

 

The kit supposed to be complete . How am I supposed to not the prices of does part from the top of my had? I think I made him a honest offer. He shouln't curse me, instead we should had come to an agreement.

Personally, I think offering even $1800 when a guy is asking $2400 for a 99% complete kit, which is already a steal, over a few small missing parts is kind of insulting. If I were him I wouldn't have yelled or anything, I would have just politely told you to pack sand and went on my way.
