I rarely haul things in my bed or with a trailer. Should I get the TSB done? It is free!

I just had the parts ordered for mine. But then again when I actually haul something its heavy. I've read a few posts that if you don't plan on doing much hauling then enjoy the smoother ride. Personal opinion if you don't haul.

The ride gets a bit stiffer and more "truck like" unloaded and seems to hold a load better. If you are happy with your ride right now- There is no reason to get it- Free or not.

It's covered under warranty-but that doesn't mean you NEED it....If you like the way your truck feels....Keep it that way...cause you may not like the way it feels after. (See if you can catch a ride in a truck that has been done already maybe??)

If you truck is still under warranty, IMO you should get it done.

I had mine done. It lifted the back bumper up 1". Didn't really make much of a difference in the ride. With a heavy load and/or 4 passengers it will still bottom out though.

If you haul heavy loads often I'd reccomend getting a suspension upgrade designed to handle what you do.

When I rarely had a full load, it bottomed out over speed bumps.

The TSB added 1/2" for me. I noticed the ride "a little more firm," not stiff. The average pereson will not notice the difference, although people on TW are not average peeps:)

It does not bottom out anymore. In addition with a Toytec AAL, it rides great!

Toyota all weather floor mats. Mag light that clunks around in the jack compartment. Dog hair. Dog drool on the windows.
I disagree. it is a truck and should haul what it says it can (1,300lbs)stock.

There is an increase in stiffness with the spring TSB, but it is not harsh IMO. Had mine done about 2 months ago and I like the firmer ride- feels like the truck is more stable and controlled after the change. A truck should ride like a truck, not a Cadillac.

I can see why some may not like this change- I second taking a ride in a TSB'ed Taco to see what you think. Once this TSB is done the dealer will not put it back (without charging) if you don't like it.

I say get it done, it firms up the performance on the road. It make the truck handle much more tighter. If you end up not liking it there are plenty of people here who are out of warranty and want it done, so It would be easy to swap with them

Get it done...you'll be glad you did.

I don't haul or tow much either.

But.... with the TSB... I don't have to worry. Even loading up a full scoop of mulch in the bed every-other-year is a blessing to know the suspension can handle it.

The truck handles better overall with it.

Thanks for all the input. I guess it is definetly a preference.
