not when you are looking though a scope. Have you tried finding a job in the army that does not require your job being a shooter?

i ended up with a perfect storm of B.S that ended up with my waiver denials...

Somewhere in my med files they pulled my visit to the hospital for a migrane, and in that file I said (when I was 12) that I was allergic to shrimp...
So they pinged me for migranes (Which I havent had since 7th grade) and a shrimp allergy...ON TOP of the cataracts.
And as far as the cataracts goes, I had a botched surgery that required 5 laser surgeries...
SO ALL OF THAT ended up with a waiver denial, even after requested by my unit commander.

I shouldda just gone to West Point. Heard Grey liners get priority heath

They do! I've learned how, it was one of the first things our coach taught us to do in HS

 

can't even get to the point where I'd be choosing a MOS yet
I've been dead set on 19K or 19C armor/cav since I was a wee young lad, but now I'll fuckin take anything

 

That mos is a BADLY needed MOS. Try looking into those. 35m is another. Also 37F, if you can learn to speak another language.

 

Get this, I am right hand dominant, but left eye dominant. Makes me abidexturous handgun, but everything else was a struggle to begin with. But all the practice made me better

like I said though, I havent even made it as far as choosing a MOS.
It sucks watching those former druggy pricks make it in before me...
My ROTC instructor said I was ranked 3rd in my class, and that if I managed to get my waiver he could have sent me to Airborne...but that didnt work. And now my friends are emailing me pics of them at jump school to hurt my feelings

IF you go CA or 37f, you will jump. You can also get all those cool guy assignments, and high speed gear and wont be with a regular unit. get to hang out with the cool guys

at the academies you have to start from the freshman year though, so I'd basically have wasted these last 45 credits

 

not wasted. Those credits will help you as long as you have them


If worse comes to worse wait until our next war when the army relize they need bodys and then join up

Look man, Just remember something. Showing those recruiters that you want in will get you in correct? Have those medical papers waived. They are full of bs if they use that to stop you. Fighting the army is something very difficult to do, and I commend you on your willingness to participate. But maybe you are coming at from the wrong direction?

I have the recruiters on my side, they're the ones that've been trying to push it through for me
my dead ends have been coming from where the papers are going; the MEPS doc here and the DODMERB docs up in virginia (IIRC)
