That's good to. But those ladies are tiny. The muscle mass lost during the prep season is tough on the body. But if you can do it, GO FOR IT!

    And post pics ;)

    You are deff welcome here.....lol :D j/k!

Working legs is a great way to keep more muscle in general and burn tons of calories......legs and back make up the majority of a persons muscle mass!

Still kinda stoked about it so I figured I would share.

I did 5 consecutive muscle ups today!!! Yesterday I finally did my first one ever, I guess I figured it out!

I can't imagine there are a lot of guys over 240 that can do the over the top!

Impressive.....on a bar or rings? Couldn't get a "clean" one on a straight bar and my shoulder got tweaked trying so its on the back burner.

I though rings were supposed to easier since you can tuck them closer to your shoulders at the transition?.......never tried them though.

You into some of the extreme or "ghetto" calisthenic groups? They do tons of muscle up variations and are pretty big guys too.

6'1" 195, I can do 5 sets of 5 straight bar muscle ups. Not that hard, just gotta get a good kip going and keep the rhythm.

Mine were in the straight bar. I saw some of the little "crossfit" guys doing them and talking shit so I figured i would have to do them to shut them up.

I get a kick out of showing those guys what's up. They like to talk down to bodybuilders and say our muscle is useless. We can do just about everything they do except bigger and with more weight usually.

It's the D bag wannabes I have issues with! My wife and I nick named this dude "taco bell". He would walk around the free weight area eating soft tacos and asking people to spot him with the 100lb dumbbells. He'd get them up and only lower them an 1/8" and yell as loud as he could. He'd then go grab another taco!

Classic, let me tell ya!
