I am building a 14.5" w/ a Surefire MB. I am torn between a Micro H-1 or a new Leupold Mk6 1x6 with the H59 reticle, or both. Its my Christmas present to me for being awesome this year. My fiancee is getting my M&P slide milled and a RMR mounted along with a threaded barrel.

Btw everybody has opinions then there are assholes. That's why I said opinion. My Sig was made in New Hampshire stamped on it thanks. All weapons are garbage if the person behind the weapon system doesn't know how to employ it. I.e. clean an maintain. Shoot the right ammo out of it chamber pressures too high will blow your face off not to mention void you warranty on your weapon. I don't need nothing fancy. I'm just a man that loves his dogs and his guns. And can shoot a Carbine and hit targets out to the 600 meter mark consecutively. Thanks for your opinion. I didn't ask for it but, thanks anyway. That's why some people have guns so they can hide behind them when they run there mouth. Don't worry you know who you are. I will not respond to your idiotic suggestions nor your dumb ass comments. People could argue on here all day. Bottom line is weapon plus trained individual equals deadly. Semper Fi. Out.

Actually, it's stamped with the importer/assembler's name. They just "reassemble" them there to get around import red tape. Your Sig is actually a Swiss/German made US assembled mutt you paid WAY too much money for and GLOCK is pounded out by a 600 lb Austrian Hulk with a hammer, but still stamped GLOCK Smyrna, GA on it.

The only statement you've made I agree with so far.

Sorta. Most modern firearms don't fail spectacularly. They are designed to withstand a double load (A proof load is a double load). You have to really foul up to blow a chamber in a modern firearm.

Stay away from the 5.56 cartridge. Minute of man at the 600 mark, probably won't meet your expectations. I have taken out coyotes at 800, but it was wildcatted .223 and a bolt action rifle with a little better barrel than you get with an off the shelf AR.

You're welcome! That's what makes discussion forums really neat. People who may have not learned proper methods and techniques, or not know obscure facts can come and learn from other's experiences and knowledge. It's too bad that some folks are resistant to changing their misconceptions and get really defensive when they are wrong.

It's funny actually. People get caught up in trying to prove some one wrong. It's not that anybody is wrong or right it's opinions. That's the point. Immature people never cease to amaze me. Two words "grow up". I'm not even going to entertain these accusations. Got on this site because I've been Ill. Go ahead and carry on there will be no more responses here I am above this childishness, immature, jobless sorts of those trying to turn this into something that its not.
