I don't get your measurments. My 885x on 5100 at 0 gets me 22.75 fender to hub measurement front driver side. I have no spacers for taco lean. I didn't read through the whole thread so sorry for asking if the 5100 in the front you have are the right size or part number for the taco?

I suppose you are an access cab prerunner but I dont think that accounts for the 2 inch difference or maybe it does...?

Supposedly the 884 are more for access can and 885 for Double. I think double cabs have 100-150lbs extra weight not countin 4x4. But I agree I wouldn't think it be that much difference. But yes the 5100 are the right part. And I had a shop check out my install and they said it was good no problems. I mean everyone's lift is different I suppose.

I would say go with 884. Don't run stock at 2.5..too much preload on spring.

So 884 better than eibachs? Even though 5100 and eibachs made to be paired together?

Was going to call them and ask a few questions..I plan to bring my truck to my friends to install it all.(he has been a mechanic for over 20 years..i trust him more than the noobs at most of the places in town. :D) I assume wheelers sells the 885x coils and was going to ask how much/if they can mount the springs on the shocks so we don't have to hurt ourselves. :D Oh and maybe ask if they have halloween candy left.

Eibach was stiff at 620 lb coil rate with no extra weight on front at anything over 0 setting on 5100 for me. 885x at 0 got me .25 inches higher than eibach at. 85 fwiw.

Think 884 would be the way to go them.

In my opinion, yes. How much lift are you going for up front? The ride with the eibachs was nice at the 0 setting on the billy and it gave me about 1.5 inches of lift. You would likely get the advertised 1.6 inches with your truck (plus the silver Eibach would look good in your wheel well :) ). I can guess that the 884 would be a softer ride than the eibach, I am unfamiliar with the 884 though. your decision.

Ideally I would like 2-2.5in up front. So I think I would need eibachs set at .85 and 884s at zero. But. Agree. Silver look good ha

See if you just got lift spindles you would have been done; no messing with rough riding aftermarket coils, you could have kept your stock shocks, and your lift would have been the perfect height to run 285s. Oh and the cost would have been comparable to adjustable billies and coils

I keep saying this to all the prerunner guys because it really is the best and most practical way to go. Back when I was in high school I decided to put a set a lift spindles on my S-10 and since then every 2wd truck I've owned I went with the spindle route for lift. Lift coils and adjustable shocks only take from your suspension by making it stiff, personally I like suspension that flexes to absorb the bumps.

That said you already have the billies so I would say the 884s sound like the best route to take and should get you where you want to be height wise... or at least close to it.

    Best of luck

Haha that's great to know now, but Rob you never even mentioned these to me! No one had. I don't really know much about them. How much are lift spindles?
