When you guys deadlift do you let go of the bar and re-set after each rep (5x max) or rep them out?

I've been letting go and re-setting before tightening up for the next rep.

good work man but there's a little more to a WOD and the crossfit program than just jumping on a bar & knocking out some muscle ups and calling it a day.

you should attend the open try outs for the crossfit games next year if you're so confident in your ability to hang

So you are breaking your fast before you work out? I've been working out before I break my fast, and only take coffee and BCAA's pre and intra workout.

I'm not sure if I'm doing it right. Maybe I should have some carbs or something before a workout?

I try to wake up and work out as the body has its highest levels of test at that time. I wake up, make a pre workout cocktail that consists of 50 grams of Karbolyn, 2 scoops of a pre workout and 1 scoop of BCAA's and a test booster. Intra workout is 50 grams of Karbolyn, 2 scoops BCAA's and 1 scoop of my pre workout.

Post workout/break fast is usually oatmeal and a weight gainer shake or chicken and sweet potato or tuna and rice, depending on what I have available.

I'd say most of my carbs are ingested in the first 2 meals of my day.

I wake up around 1030 and get to the gym around 12 - 1230 would my test levels still be high?

Karbolyn is pretty much just some carbs to help with energy for the weight lifting? How do you like it?

And what preworkout do you take? My pops just bought me a tub of NO xplode. Not sure if that's good or not. (We'll see )

Lol ASS xplode. Karbolyn is derived from potato rice and corn carbs. Its very potent and gives great energy. I love it.

I'd go within an hour of waking, maybe even less. It's not good to wait that long after waking to have food. So if you wake up and you don't go till 1230, eat a meal upon waking.

On leangains you can do it either way....just have 10g BCAA pre workout and another 10 post if you can't eat a meal. I like to get something in me and workout an hour later. Last nights post workout chipotle burrito with double meat was sooooo good. Woke up with the tighest midsection too!
