Probably have the only 2nd Gen with an 8274 in the world.
I ran the Cooper S/T's and they sucked, but the tire store did screw up my alignment. 30K miles and actually blew one out - but even new they wouldn't pull a greasy string out of a cat's ass in the mud. Just put some 255 Toyo MT's on, much more tire than the S/T - I have great expectations.

No snow in LA - Red River and MS River Valley gumbo mud.

Pics requested by another dude. 2.5" skyjacker spacer on stock coilovers - slight rub on upper control arm at wheel lock.

Luckily just got it's annual washing.

I just got 5 255/85/16's from Discount and they matched tire crawler's price for me. They were going to add the shipping to the cost of the tires but another local guy gave me his invoice and they matched it for the $235 per tire.

All 5 mounted and balanced with tax was like $1580, with road hazard warranty.

If you are wondering about the one on the tire carrier, it is the stock 265, Discount only had 4 in stock so I am waiting on the 5th one for the spare!

    MisterM70,
Nice setup! I would love to see your truck in person. I'm on the other side of Phoenix (Glendale) and running 265/75R16 Dura-Tracs.

I work near sky harbor and I have a co worker with a stock trd or 2012 SB, who is itching to get out OR.

We should plan a day trip!

I've noticed some with my 4Banger on freeway hills.
On hilly drives I lose 1 to 2 MPGs. On flat I gain 1 MPG after figuring MPGs on actual mileage (GPS).

    Not bad at all...

This size tire is definetly in my near future. Does anyone have a preference between the Cooper Discoverer or the KM2s? If so, why?

Running the 255s puts the speedo off by around 5MPH at 70MPH & I don't remember what the odo is off by. I use my GPS for speed & mileage.
