Hey Doug I am looking for 4-5" of lift what do I need to do that I have the stock tsb pack. It's an 06 Tacoma

 

You'll need to look for some well ARC'd donor springs , something SUA would do pretty well (s-10 1 ton, goodluck finding one) of course be prepared for the usual ext. brakelines/ extended shocks / carrier drop/etc;

You may even end up shimming the axle a little (prolly not tho')

 

I have an allpro expo pack I went to a meet in Florida and a Orlando member had them too and he sat 2" higher

 

Ok well the Expo's have 3" IIRC, is this right ? Or are you stock w/TSB like stated earlier ?

I have expos they are supposed to be 4" without weight in the bed and maintain 3" with 500lbs

Sorry I meant to say I still have my oem tsb pack that I want to make have 4-4.5" of lift. On my truck now is the allpro pack

Ahhhh, ok, no worries now I understand....

Like I said earlier you can get 4" for sure out of your stock pack by adding 2 or 3 nicely ARC'd Chevy (or Ford) springs per side, & don't thinkl I mentioned this, you'll need to get a flip kit for rear shackles too...

yeah , about 3" pretty much max's out the stock 2nd gen ones, plus the stock config. really sucks anyway

 

Is there anybody making a good setup for the shackle flip kits?

Yeah the allpro is a good one, leaving you with a shackle thats re configed like a 1st gen (normal) & i think you can get them with a couple diff. lengths too.. for sure a win..pretty reasonable price also IIRC

 

I didn't know allpro made a shackle flip kit. I didn't see it listed on there website.

 

That's a U-bolt flip kit, not a shackle flip kit.

 

I have the ubolt flip kit. I knew they made those but as far as I know only fab junkie makes an actual shackle flip kit
