I'm actually in Benton Township off the East Benton exit of I81 - look up Dalton, PA and we are about 7 miles east; in the northeast corner of PA about 50 miles south of the NY border.

Finally started work on the kitchen lighting project today.

Roughed in the first fixture. I may want to add a 2in valance to hide the fixture a bit. All other locations should be fine. Temp is 3000K for all fixtures.

But not super brite. Once you get over 4300K the illuminated objects may do a color shift and appear to be a few shades off. Like red and orange kind of thing. Since I am basically illuminating the cooking and food preperation surfaces I wanted to see the colors as true as possible.

Oh and I will have to patch this before the project is complete.

Well phase 1 is complete. Nice thing is I had to empty out the cabinets so I relined the shelfs with new shelf paper. Actually is it some form of a latex plastic, I think. Threw away a lot of stuff we do not use anymore as well.

I wish I could but the wife might have issues with that. LOL

Actually not all that hard to do. Using a lot of skills I normally do not use. I had to do some soldering to remove excess cord to the far right cabinet.

This weekend I will do the area over the sink. That will take some time because I need to cut some oak to fit above and stain to match. I also have to run a cable from the string you see in the pic to two other cabinets on the other side of the sink.

I wish I had bought one more LED strip. I messed up.

Pic of the wires in the cabinet prior to making it look pretty in the cabinet.

Not great news, but a lot better than a lot of folks. Did they get most of their stuff moved upstairs before the water came in?

Lost everything on the first floor. Time they started calling movers to get stuff moved up stairs they were to busy to make it. No one got hurt so the news was good. Down side they had some nice old stuff on the 1st floor.:(

That part of PA was hit really hard. They are talking up to weeks to restore power.

Anybody have an idea of where he lives? I'm maybe an hour and a half away.
