Just wanted your guys opinion on this.
I love my hood scoop but the glare I get driving towards the sun at any time kills me. I buddy has some extra matte black vinyl laying around so I thought I would give this a try.

All Matte Black vinyl the grey is just to show where theres so shading.
Obviously the hoodscoop would be in place and it would also be matte black.

Also my truck is mag grey, not the silver lol.

Might need a black roof to bring it all together.

    like this.. [IMG]

I like this option better.. resembles the FJ style matte hood. I'd fully cover the scoop though..

I like it! I've always been a fan of black vinyl on the hood!

    stuff...
The ones you posted look funny to me. I'd follow the line from the gap between the headlight and the grill and run it back towards the windshield corner. That way it flows and works with the bodylines of the truck. This was a popular paint/hood scheme with the SN95 mustangs.

that g is pretty sick... im curious to see what my truck would look like wrapped in black left with a red offset stripe... can they do that? leave cutouts in the wrap? or will air get under it and peel it up?

Yes, they can do it( they would just make a red strip on it),Anything is possible when it comes to customizing. Im just wondering how it would hold up OR. Like nothing serious of couse but like if a brach streaked it would it be Fd in the a?

well i figure they could either add a strip of red, but i mean my truck is red so they could just leave a strip of red uncovered.... and yeah im not too sure... wrapping probably isnt the way to go if you do even any trails because id be too worried about it getting torn. probably better for the s/x-runners/slammed tacos/and road queens up here that dont see anything but blacktop.
