    With the amount I travel? 5-7 months. Even if I were to change it now, I wouldn't put on 5k again before winter ends to change it to a different weight though.

    About the same as me. I have been a little hesitant to exceed 5K on an oil change. Not so much the oil but the time needed to get to 5K. Most of my trips are 25 miles or less so I do worry about the extra start ups and not driving for extended times with the engine at operating temp.

    I've looked in the owners manual and it lists both the 5w20 and 5w30 for my truck. I just switched to castrol syntec and was wondering if I should switch to 5w20 :notsure:
