Still need to do that... Kind of busy this weekend though, so hopefully it's not too cold next weekend.

Yep; hoping to do my first brew in a couple weeks to make sure everything is working right.

Do you drink beer? We tend to have last minute meets at places that sell cold beer.

Or wrench meets that involve drinking beer. I had one of those today.

I hate to admit it; but I'm about beer-ed out today. Between the trip to Austin, an hour at the range, and a couple more beers with dinner I'm going to bed when I finish my Environmental Science quiz.

i hate it so far. just from a cleaning stand point...

took me literally an hour and a half to get the damn thing apart. the 2 pins holding the trigger assembly to the receiver would NOT budge. after an hour of beating on them with a hammer and screwdriver and not moving a milimeter i finally had to find someone who had a set of punches. after a couple of hard wacks of the hammer it they finally came out. same thing with the 3rd pin the keeps the bolt in place. i ended up sanding the all down with some 80 grit and now they go in and come out easier

Adam.... a hammer and screwdriver, really? Do it right and purchase a set of punches. I also hope you didn't remove so much material so as to make the pieces a little loose. The 10/22 is an amazingly tough rifle right out of the box.

My old stomping grounds, grew up right near there. Now I'm in North Ft. Worth. As Zech said, we'll get together for some beers sometime soon.
