I have been spit shinning my duty boots for the last two hours. They are still not to where I want them.... Going to get them spoon shined because I'm getting lazy.

 

have you tried turtle wax? or the washing machine?

 

I don't know that will work. I'm just too lazy to shine new boots. Ill take them to ft Carson and har them shined. Got a good start on my class A boots.

Started off with a crash, was a secondary crash in traffic build up from the primary crash. Slight damage, no injury. Did some paperwork and admin shit, traffic, responded to an unattended death. Slow for a Saturday.

 

Yea get to sit in a nice cozy fire house, cleaning my hose. Playing poker and sleeping. Must be nice.

Yup, it sucks because they are brand new. So it takes a little to get the imperfections filled in. You know that though.

Don't be a hater. It's clean because FF's like me have to clean it on shift I am a perfectionist in the janitorial arts. And Greeley fire must be more laid back if they are playing poker, our LT's would say fuck no! Sleeping yeah that happens but we are there for 48 hours at a time.

I know I'm just playing. Just did my vacation picks got 3 rotations off which gives me 8 days off in a row 3 times a year, love that.
