    I am looking for a tailgate that fits my 2008 Tacoma Acces Cab, preferably in Impulse Red, I went to the dealer for one and their prices are outrageous. I actually had my truck sold until my tailgate was stolen so if any one could help me out by pointing my in the right direction because I dont know if I should just buy one offline and get it painted or try and find one that matches already. Thanks

    Good Luck. Finding an IMPULSE Red is very hard. You're better off finding a used one that has some scratches but NO dents for cheap. Then get it repainted to match your truck.

    A Dent Free complete Tailgate with surface scratches or poor paint should be between $100-$130. A perfect color matched tailgate can be had for $200-$300.

    OP...make sure it has the vin numbers on it otherwise your buying a stolen one and be weary of guys with one post offering to sell you one.

    if you buys stolen stuff....you just help the criminals
