maintenance required light's on

    so it was blinking when i started my 08 TRD and stayed on when i hit 5k miles.

    i believe this is the reminder for my oil change

    and im almost sure that somewhere i read that button under my steering wheel turns that light off but i dont know the procedure on how long i need to hold it and how many times i have to push it.. someone help me out??

    That button under the steering wheel is for the TPMS system (tire pressure monitoring system). It has nothing to do with the oil changes.
