    Isn't that just the safe operating temperature range? And other things like it's safe voltage range, and normal voltage draw, max amp draw and normal amp draw? Seems like something any electrical device should have. I have never owned any HID ballasts though so take that with a grain of salt.

    EDIT: I was beat to it. Darn.

    I think HID bulbs still burn xenon gas. That's what I have always thought though.
