just looked through your build, sucks when stuff like that happens. looks good tho.

 

The infamous chicken feet!!! I got some hella 500ff 55w hid converted through a group buy on here a while back and when turned on....bam all three did the chicken foot! I know another member with same issue too! Ion not sure what it is from, bulbs look to be straight.

 

Were you able to fix it? I figured new bulbs?

Nope, I hate my lights! I have had nothing but problems with them!!! Gonna ditch them for a led bar at some point.

Odd. My 500ffs are like that at all

 

Strange, I converted my 700ffs to HIDs and while they have some hot spotting, they look nothing like your pictures.

Can you post some pictures of how the bulbs are mounted in the housing?

 

sad they are epoxied in there..

but looks normal to me..they are normal 500s though..odd stuff..

 

I can get them out. BUt don't know if it's worth the trouble.

 

if they still put out sufficient light, which if they are anything like mine im SURE they do, then id just leave it.

 

They do its just annoying as shit, especially if it's dusty.
