Hurry up and get better so we can do it up! I'm getting more and more curious about taking my truck off road. My biggest concern is my side steps, honestly. They have these low-hanging brackets that bolt to the body so if one of them caught a rock, it could end up doing a lot of damage. I know I'd be fine on most trails, just have to be cautious.

Sounds good, John. A small sort of beginners group would be fun!

I was thinking the same thing when I read that

On another note, I packed my carrier bearing with RTV Silicone and it got rid of all of my vibrations! The rubber around the bearing was getting worn and allowing the shaft to flop around a bit so I filled around the bearing with RTV, let it harden up and the results were pretty exciting so far. I figure I'm going to end up replacing the damn thing soon anyways, I might as well jerry-rig it and buy some more time

~30 MPGs is impressive. Now try that again averaging 70-75 MPH.

Those rocks are intimidating for a stock truck.
