First ever college football fight on prime time tv.

Miami Quarterback Attack. In 1987 game between Miami and South Carolina a Miami player flung the South Carolina player to the ground and both benches cleared as a huge brawl broke out.

Second ever major college football fight on prime time tv.

Pre-Game Slugfest. In 1988, Miami and Notre Dame got into a slugfest with each other before the game even started

Edit: There was one major fight beforehand between ND and USC, but it wasn't on major television at that time.

I don't follow NCAA as much as I use to, but I was looking at the BCS and realized with the remaining schedule and that Bama, Oregon, OSU, ND, K State, and Louisvile all could easily remain undefeated. How big of a clusterfuck would that be? I guarantee if it it happens ND will find a way into the big game. Oregon probaly has the toughest road, but ND just has USC left, Bama would play UGA in the SEC, that could be tough, OSU has UM. KSU has UT. Its a shame, the BCS has killed almost all my interest. Aren't they doing a modified playoff next yr?

ND only has 3 games left, and they don't play the final weekend That everyone else will play between conference championships and final week.

Oregon has 3 games left plus the conference championship. They currently have 2 ranked teams to play plus the conf champions which would be USC or UCLA depending on who wins that one.

KSU has 3 games with only one ranked team left. TCU is also kind of a trap team for them since Collin Klein may have a concussion going into the game.

Alabama, I don't see them losing unless A&M pulls something amazing out of their asses.

And Lousiville's SOS sucks. No way possible they would get into the discussion.

If we can win Saturday and Klein is out for K State and TCU beats them then we will be one step closer to Bama.

What do you Bama fans think? A crazy matchup for an interesting game?

I think it would be pretty badass.

Oregon couldn't hang with Bama. I'd still like to see it though.

Oregon has the most exciting football to watch at any level. And has for several yrs. Their D isn't that great, but I think Bama would be the best game. ND would get killed by either. They went to 3 OT's vs Pitt. I haven't watched KSU this yr, but it seems they are pretty solid as well.

I think it would be a lot of fun to watch. I think the more interesting matchup is Alabama's offense vs. Oregon's defense. The Ducks had to out-sprint Southern Cal on Saturday. I don't think they'd be able to stop our running backs and play-action passing. I happen to believe that our defense could slow down (but not stop) Oregon's offense, but the longer our grind it out offense stays on the field, the fewer chances they have anyway.

Of the undefeated teams, I think Oregon has the best chance to beat us by far... I'd still rather play ND (for reasons outlined earlier in this thread), but Alabama/Oregon would be a hell of a good time.

I haven't watched much K State, either, but I've heard some people say they're the 'most complete team, top to bottom' of all of the undefeated teams.

Now.... I heard that on the BCS countdown on ESPN, so there's a good chance that the person who said it was told to say it so that they could have something good to say about all of the teams, but still... could be true.

Didn't Auburn play O a few yrs ago in the BCS and it was probaly the most boring football game ever? I know it was an SEC team. But it was all D and they shut down O's O.

I was watching PTI last week and one of them said no matter what, ND if they remain undefeated will be in the BCS. I totally see it happening. Other than live sports, ESPN is totally worthless to watch. SC is more annoying than my wife's real housewives shows.
