So it's going to be coming out straight a little ways before ducking down towards the bed cage?

I can see somethings I'd change, but I think it's more personal preference kind of thing.

alot of metal, small engine, decent travel.
caged, camburg long travel, 50t leafpack (soon to be installed) light rack over cab, 5pt harnesses etc
just something to keep in mind.... make sure your door bars dont sit up any higher than your seat, maybe even an inch below. it makes it such a bitch to get in and out.

Yeah I'll make some quick frame rails and a back cab wall tonight so it makes more sense looking at it

Like? Give me ideas, I'm still planning

Oh yeah I already thought of that. Those are just stuck in for looks but when I make the cage the will run just below the level of the seat. That is why they arent going all the way to the a-pillar

no hate here. i've wanted one since day one they came out. it's just so damn nice not having a truck payment

there are plenty out there that are a year old, with low miles and look like they have seen little to no abuse. you can save a ton by picking up one of those.

I'm with you JD. If I could do it over again I wouldn't have built the taco.

would you go out and huck a stock tacoma and expect nothing to break?

no stock truck is built for jumping. this includes the raptor. the frame issue with the raptors is an easy fix. easier than beefing up the tacoma frame...

Right I wouldn't. But they did market the raptor as such..so yea. Ford screwed up. And they won't fix it.

But it is a better place to start then a taco..cause it has half the shit ya need.

You have to give the raptor one thing, it finally showed all of the bros with an F250 on a 9" scaffold lift with 40" tires that they bought the wrong truck
