Cat got hacked off...Advice please?

    ^ You realize in the state of California it's a $2,500 FINE if you get caught running your vehicle with no catalytic converter.

    Quit trying to take the cheap route, guy online and by a $150 Magnaflow cat and be done with it.

    I was gonna say...I'm pretty sure catalytic converters aren't that expensive in terms of truck mods...

    U do know most are hacked off with a sawzall. Welding bolts aren't going to stop that

    I had my cat unbolted from flange so I just welded a piece of pipe where cat went

    Yeah, thanks guys. I'm just going to get a cat. Definitely not worth 2500 fine and possibly impounded truck. Muffler shop wont even straight pipe it so I can drive to buddies shop though! Crazy. Definitely don't need to cheat myself and my truck. She wouldn't have liked that! Gotta keep my karma up!

    California has strict laws regarding the use of aftermarket cats. Magnaflow makes one that is legal and cheap, but my point was to show there were options available. Maybe not that exact one, but they make ones specifically for use in California.
