Plate. I looked at a few others, but Brute Force had the best lead time and Billy actually responded to my questions promptly, he seems awesome - the other mfr's I got in touch with never got back to me.

 

I love my bumper from him and he is a pleasure to work with, I already bought his sliders haha

Whats up guys new to the tacoma world used to have a 4 door wrangler.
but I basically have a stock 09 trd off road 4x4 4 door tacoma. right now it has 285s on it with a slight spacer on the front but still it rubs.

What i want to know is i am looking into all pro leaf pack. ( the 3in one)
and then also thinking maybe pro comp 3 in springs and coils. which SHOULD give me an overall 3 in lift.

What do you guys think about this idea?

also getting time for some new tires what size and brand you all suggest plus i have never messed with wheel spacer should i do that as well?

welcome. are you getting the standard 3” pack or the expo 3” pack? they have 2 different leaf packs for 3” lift. not sure if you new that. and they are good weston who is in the chat area ordered the standard pack. i was going to get the expo pack when i lift. but have changed my plains. about my lift, and am going to wait and get like an ’85 pickup or like ’85, ’86 maybe ’87 4 runner. and fully build a off road truck/ 4 runner.

edit: tires, if you don’t want rubbing do some trimming and cab mount chop and get the same size. or go down a size. what kinda driving do you do? a lot of off roading? or mostly street driving? if mostly street, i would stay with an A/T maybe the BFG all terrains (do not get the rugged trails they suck) i have the Nitto terra grappler and really like them a lot.

 

Welcome to TW! You don't have a indigo ink taco do you? And I just ordered myself an all pro 3" leaf pack and it's back ordered until hopefully November 25th.

 

I recommend the OME lift if you are shooting for 3 inches.. Hear its a lot tougher on the trails..All pro makes pretty decent stuff too. Post pics of the truck

 

i think the OEM is just front but not sure. either way i would do all pro leaf pack. i would not do an AAL.

 

Im not sure either i know its good stuff though lol

 

yeah it’s pretty good. but their is better stuff out there. i think OEM just replaces the front coils, with a much stiffer coil spring.

i think so many people do it because it’s a lot cheaper than stuff thats a lot better.
