The best one I had was during a winter storm and I was driving my little Honda CRX. I was passing someone on the interstate doing about 45 in the middle of this storm. I had some guy in a huge dually truck come up behind me and jump right on my ass. I decided I had had enough of him so i down shifted and didn't hit the brakes. I saw him jump on the brakes and he was all over the road after that and then he backed off until i had passed the car.

On the way to class had a mustang tailgating me as i was doing the speed limit on a major county highway. An oncoming car decides to turn, without a blinker and with traffic on his ass, about 15 yards in front of me into his lane. I had to stomp on the brakes whilst blazing the horn, I created enough room to not hit the asshole coming at me but wasnt sure if the mustang was going to handle the sudden deceleration and was expecting to get tagged. Thank God we all continued towards our destinations without incident

Susan i saw you in the oil catch can thread... wondering how many of yall think it will be worth while. Seems there is some oil that is reintroduced into the intake, but the amount that is going into the intake at a time is very small when you consider the amounts their pictures are showing and the miles run.

    Opinions?

Don't you love people's antics in traffic? Always in such a rush to get to the same place they have been a thousand times over (work or home usually), getting their aggression out on the commute. Poor saps - learn to relax.

My technique: Leave at least 10 or 15 minutes early, get a coffee at the local place, enjoy the ride in my truck, live longer.

I'm seriously considering getting one. The amount of oil might be small, but where is it going when not getting caught in the catch can? Like one of the guys said, peace of mind.

well, phooey on him, then :(

Actually it is a sound addition. If you make your own be sure to put about 1/2pad if course steel wool in there. The steel wool will help dissipate the heat and allow additional surface area forthe oil to condense down onto.

The company I work for just spent 1.62~$ Billion on an evironmental project in order to clean up all our off gases. Which would put us light years ahead of the greenpeace freaks and the internation Keyoto Accord and lower our pollutants/emissions between 60%-90% depending on if things are down for maintenance or not.

So after 4 years of construction. We were supposed to start up last week finally. Then delayed all weekend due to "Unknown reasons" management was pretty hush hush about it. Finally to find out that the company doesn't have approval from the government to designate the massive complex I work in to allow for "Human occupancy". The very same building that hundreds of people are in & out of every day for work. We've also been prepping to start up, so we have all our secondary & supporting systems online currently (about 65% of everything here).

Here's where it gets funny. They spent the last week trying to buy the approval from the government. Only to get their peepee's slapped today that they will have to go through the whole application and approval process for building permiting.

So now we have to shut everything down, flush all our piping, and we're going to mothball the place for 2-3 months because of a 'slight' paperwork mishap.
