No egg under the pedal lol.... I can't tell you my secret and I cant explain why I get such good gas mileage....

I do try to watch my speed and keep it constant when I can. But there are times when I floor it too..

haha that's true..but i really don't know why.. my avg mpg in the city is 13.5, so thats pretty crappy... but when its highway i get about 21.5....but like i said i can get pretty long tank distances.....now it may help that I fill up the tank completely.

 

Haha my secret is a 4cyl fa20 boxer engine in a 2700lb car but in the taco I was lucky to hit 225 a tank.

 

So I got the 4x400 kit. But how do you attach it to the bed rails?? I can't figure it out. Must be the night shift making me dumb. Did you drill holes in the bed?

 

I used these for the ammo cans, but where the Hilift is mounted in the pic I used the bolts that actually hold on the rails. I have move the jack to the side rail and used what is in the pic

Any one know if i can order the bed rails off of a second gen? I though it be unique to put them in a first gen

 

Pretty sure you can, but from what I understand they are ridiculously expensive

 

You must go down hil everywhere you go with a freaking tail wind at that...or what, do you just pump gas until it's running down the side of the truck!!!

 

That or he pushes it nearly everywhere.

 

Funny thing is i filled up for 46 bucks on sunday and thats with a gallon of gas left
So far my milage has gone up..im at 75 miles on a quarter tank

 

its times like these when I wish there was a "like" option on here. hahah....sometimes i do pump the gas til its pouring hahaa.

 

Thats not good, you could damage the evap system.

basically if you got go past the single click of the gas pump you could damage the vapor canister.
