    "OEM" = factory equipment.

    "OME" = Old Man Emu. .

    Hey dicks,

    I don't know if anyone is keeping up with me getting this truck... But I got approved for the loan today, just trying to sell mine and get some more info from the owner. He sure doesn't respond very quick.

    Anyways, he said he is having trouble selling in California because the truck won't SMOG because of the supercharger. I'm guessing that's the same as emissions, but would I have any trouble with the truck passing inspection?

    What? Your vehicles don't have to pass inspection? We have to get an emissions test every year before we can go renew our tags...

    Inspections? Best thing about knoxville... I know a guy who has a supercharger and no cats. :spy:

    Lift-wise, OME absolutely makes rear lift, I have OME dakars / nitrochargers in my truck, they work pretty well.

    For fronts, I haven't heard much about procomp. I have icons and really like them. I know they have groupbuys sometimes. Radflo, walker evans, toytec, and a few others make less expensive coilovers that folks seems to like.

    If you don't want an adjustable coilover, you can go to the OME lift that was mentioned. It gives a fixed amount of lift up front, and people like them, but they do ride pretty stiff, just a warning.

    Then the next step down is just putting bilstein shocks in your existing coils and preloading them.

    Below that is a spacer lift... just go ahead and don't do that.
