The 3M kit the one that comes with the tape, costs bout 20-25 bucks. Was really easy to do. Still think I could do another set or two with the amount of pads it comes with.

Well it's a sad sad day here. Have to take the supercharger off as it needs a rebuild. It doesn't look like I'll have the funds to get it rebuilt so back on goes the OEM manifold. [IMG] May put the S/C up in the shop for awhile and see if I can scrape the funds up to rebuild. If not I may have to sell it.

Isn't a rebuild kit only around $100? You could donate some plasma and have it done in 10 days.

Nice, those look killer! I'll be making my own soon. How long are they? My guess is 2" wide with 3/8th plate?

I spent my day rolling around on the ground at the salvage yard getting a 4.30 E-Locker and front diff out of a 2000 4Runner with only 60,000mi. That is a lot of damn work when it is a solo act! The only help I had all day was loading the rear axle onto cart and into back of my truck. I am still not sure if I am feeling ambitious enough to swap the third member and front diff into my truck to regain some lost torque after tire size increase, keep them for an excuse to buy a non-locked 3rd gen 4Runner ;) ...or sell them.

I also snagged all of the valve shims out of the same rig. I have found having a variety of shim sizes before performing a valve adjustment on Yotas works really well.

Oh, and I also snagged a center console hinge for my Tacoma (yeah I know exciting). Turns out a 1993 Corolla hinge will work on a 1996 Tacoma console and without the stupid torsion spring (sometimes it is the little things that make a trip to the yard worth it). The spring takes up a half of the Tacoma hinge so they aren't very strong at all compared to the Corolla full width hinge.

    lol

I actually wrote and signed a contract with myself the other day, to give my self deadlines on finsihing certain things and then putting it up for sale! :anonymous: hahahahaha Got to re-do rear suspension, herculiner the bed, fix gas cap, tack weld the steering column, finish skids, fix bent passenger door hinge, re-tub firewalls, bedliner roof, fenders and possibly rockers. I'm also searching craigslist everyday for a good deal on 37s since the 35s look small..... Will officialy be up for sale before the spring semester starts. That's basicall what the contract says. lol

I think I'll have a bit of time to go on a few more wheeling trips.... ;)
